The Melissa Education Foundation was Founded in 2006 by The Zadow Family, MEF has provided more than $2 million in scholarships to graduating seniors and grants to Melissa ISD teachers.
Our Mission:
To enrich the lives of Melissa ISD students through scholarships, teacher grants and other educational opportunities.

Goals:
- Provide a continuous source of funds to enrich the lives of students and teachers with gifts from individuals, local businesses, corporations, trusts and investments.
- To provide graduating seniors with financial resources to continue their education.
- To promote, encourage, and recognize creativity among educators by providing funds for innovative education programs and opportunities.
- To bring the community together in supporting and celebrating excellence in education.
